Splash!

It was another beautiful, warm and sunny Okinawan day today. It's great being able to spend time at the beach mid-December! Here's a splash photo I took with a little help from my husband who did the rock tossing, haha.

Sneak Peek: Best Dressed Cowkids in the West!

For their Fall Photo Session, Cousins T, L, and Baby I wore cowboy & cowgirl outfits. Grammie did a great job picking out the perfect outfit for each of them. Don't you just love their hats, shirts, and boots? They're the Best Dressed Cowkids in the West!!! Thanks so much Grammie & Pap!

We discovered a Japanese/Hawaiian Cafe along Route 6. I'm so glad we found this place cause their food is GREAT!

Sneak Peek: The H Family Teen Sibling Session

I had so much fun doing something different... this time I had a teen sibling photo session! C and K were up for anything and we tried all sorts of poses in the grass, sand, and even peeking behind doors. C & K have beautiful green and hazel eyes and they're such an adorable brother sister team!!!

Sneak Peek: Baby M's 1st Birthday!

It was Baby M's 1st Birthday Party and I had the honor of capturing her event! We took a few pictures of Baby M at the park with her Mommy and then had playtime with all her guests afterward. Baby M loved posing for the camera and her pictures turned out great!!! Her Mommy even made her yummy orange cake.

Sneak Peek: The N Family Newborn Session

A couple months ago I photographed The N Family for their Family Maternity Session. Now their baby boy has arrived! At just 2 weeks old Baby J knows his family already. You can see it in his eyes and the way he responds to Mommy, Daddy, and Big Sister M.

I went to American Village tonight to take some night photos. American Village is all dressed up for October & Halloween!

Closing time

I was at the beach pretty late last week. Here's what the beach looks like once the party is over and everyone has gone home. The Japanese are so good about keeping things orderly. Being so OCD, I loved the umbrellas and lounge chairs arranged so neatly at the end of the day.

Only in Okinawa...

Only in Okinawa will you find a random vending machine in the middle of a field. There's no way anyone on this island will go thirsty!

Mommy A's Baby Shower

We celebrated Mommy A's Baby Shower at the park in Kadena. We certainly didn't let a little rain stop the Pink Roses and Strawberry Cupcakes Baby Party! Mommy A looked beautiful as always... can't wait to meet her little one soon!!!

Clouds over Sunabe Seawall

I stopped by the Sunabe Seawall on the way home from base today! It was another perfectly partly cloudy day. I thought it was so gorgeous the way the clouds were framing the entire West coast of Okinawa.

It's Little Sister O's 2nd birthday soon so we had a photo session at the park. These adorable sisters loved running around and having their pictures taken while I got to play on the gym, too! Happy 2nd Birthday, Little Miss O!!!
